Kayla & Eric ~ June 13, 2009

There is no better way to start the work week than with a note like this:

Hi Brianna,

Everything went so beautifully at the wedding. Thank you so much for everything. I received a ton of feedback from many individuals. Everyone raved about the pasta dishes. They thought that they were absolutely wonderful. One person said that they do not even like spinach salads but loved the spinach salad with fruit and vinaigrette. Everyone was amazed at how well the place was set up. The photographer asked who did all the "detail" stuff like the green favor boxes on each place setting, the table signs, etc. I told her that I provided all the stuff to you and you took care of the rest, which she thought was wonderful.

I too thought that the food was great. Normally, I believe that buffets tend to provide luke warm food, which was just not the case here.

As I said before, we are the first of the group to get married and everyone thought that the wedding was done beautifully. I will be passing on your information to my friends and family.

Again, it was a pleasure working for you, and if you would like to use me as a reference, I would be more than happy to give you an excellent reference to future clients.

Thanks again,
Missy (Mother of the Bride)

Sarah & Dan ~ June 6, 2009

I have been waiting to blog about this wedding, hoping to have some of the BEAUTIFUL pictures to share. However, I just couldn't wait any longer! I will be sure to add more pictures soon, but for now I have to say a huge thank you to Party of 2, Jen & Deb, who did a fabulous job and wrote a really great blog about SacTown Catering:

"Great Experience with SacTown Catering!
This past Friday, June 6, 2009 in New Castle, CA we were privileged to be a part of a couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony and reception. The caterer for the event was SacTown Catering. We just had to let our community of vendors know what an excellent experience it was for us as planners and day-of-coordinators working with SacTown Catering. Brianna Kleinschmidt ,the owner of SacTown Catering, and with her Staff Captain, Brigitte and crew, could not have provided a more seamless effort with their part of the festivities. With the start of the appetizer hour all the way through to cutting cake they matched all of our requests with the ebb and flow of the reception as it unfolded, truly the mark of professionals. As it turned out this particular event moved faster than predicted and SacTown met that challenge easily. They so quickly adjusted and this was great for the wedding guests, our staff, and of course the bride and groom were so pleased! We would encourage anyone looking for top-notch event caterers to consider SacTown Catering for your next event. If you have any questions about this event or need help planning your next event, don’t hesitate to give us a call at Party of 2 at 916-479-3093 or contact us at prtof02@gmail.com ~ Jen and DebParty of 2"

Sarah & Dan were so genuine and sincere and it was truly an honor to be a part of their wedding. A ton of hard work went into their wedding day, from completely landscaping the home of Sarah's parents, to hand-making the invitations, table runners, and favors, as well as carefully selecting special details and memorable touches that really made the day complete. To see a few of the early pictures, visit photographer Crystal Petersen's blog at: www.crystalpetersenphoto.com/blog . Crystal and her team did an amazing job and captured over 5,000 photos! Lots to choose from!
The Menu:
Passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour included antipasto caprese cups, chipotle-honey glazed prawns and goat cheese & mint puff pastries. The Bride & Groom selected a dinner buffet that included lemon caper chicken, mustard & rosemary encrusted pork, our chef's seasonal salad, penne pasta with asparagus & sundried tomatoes, roasted summer vegetable medley, and fresh baked breads. We also provided bartending services which featured the Bride & Groom's favorite selections of Santa Barbara regional wines and the groom's choice of bottled beers.

Julie & Joe ~ May 30, 2009

If I had to choose one word to describe the wedding of Julie & Joe it would easily be GLAMOROUS! Wow . . . the venue (Crest Theatre), the bride, the music (Music on the Move) . . . all breathtaking. This truly unique and memorable wedding was fun from the first phone call to the last dance.

Julie & Joe covered every detail with the help of the great staff at the Crest Theatre. They rolled out the red carpet, literally, and even made their own movie posters to display outside the theatre.

The Menu:

A movie-theater inspired ensemble of appetizers and a candy & cupcake station set up on the old-fashioned concession stand. The passed hors d'oeuvres included our one-of-a-kind coffee & donut shot glass, a gourmet pizzetta crostini, andouille sausage & mutsard bites wrapped in phyllo, sliders, handmade potato chips served in miniature popcorn bags topped with caramelized onions and crumbled cheeses, and buffalo chicken mini calzones. All too good to eat just one!

The amazing photos of the evening are courtesy of Jen Stewart Photography ~ http://jenstewartphotography.net/ . See more on her own blog!

Summer & Randy ~ May 9, 2009

What a beautiful day! Summer assembled a team of the best professionals in Sacramento: SacTown Catering, Scribner Bend Vineyard, True Love Photography (Beth!) and Bella Bloom Flowers. I arrived on May 9th a few hours before the bride and groom, truly excited to see all the details come together.

The Menu:

A beautiful & delicious display at the Chardonnay Gardens including California Artisan cheeses, Baked Brie stuffed with pesto, sundried tomatoes & toasted pinenuts, seasonal fruits, Tuscan Antipasto, and our Vertical Vegetable Crudite with a trio of delicious dips.

Summer & Randy also selected an amazing array of butler passed hors d'oeuvres including Lamb Chop Lollipops, Thai Prawn Shooters, Asian Nachos, Seasoned Beef Asparagus Rolls and Japanese Ahi Spoons. Mmmmmmm!

The sweet ending was worth waiting for, a triple threat. Accompanying the traditional wedding cake was a grooms cake made by Ettore's that we did not even believe was a cake! Inspired by Randy's love of fishing, the cake was a fishing basket with a frosted lid that opened to reveal fishing supplies. We hated to cut it, but the guests loved to eat it! Finally, the candy station turned out beautifully and I surprised myself and the florists with our beautiful arrangements.

Huge thanks to Beth at True Love Photography for the beautiful pictures (coming soon). Check out her website and blog: www.truelovephoto.com/summer/
